Complimentary Initial Consultation
It all starts with the initial contact – either by email or phone we are eager to assist you. We can meet onsite at your newly acquired space to discuss your vision and or have a chat via phone to understand your brief and provide you with a comprehensive quote.
Concept Direction
This stage is a key part of the design process which involves researching imagery, sketches, ideations and assembling tangible finishes to help create a strong concept direction that is tailored to your vision and brief.

We have accumulated years of experience providing efficient and smart spatial planning of simple and challenging spaces. We work and challenge site constraints while complying to Building Code of Australia and the Food Safety Australia standard. Our main objective is developing a layout that best optimises space, flow, and functionality for your business brief.
Design Concept Development
With a strong concept board to work from we begin the exciting part of the design process – creating 3D visualisations to help translate the design concept into a visual story board. We collaborate closely with shopfitters and consultants to ensure we create and present to you a design that is achievable in materiality, budget, and execution.
Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment Selections
Our comprehensive knowledge of furniture, fixtures and equipment and our connections in the supplier industry enable us to specify a vast range of materials, lighting, furniture, and fittings to complement the design and budget whilst establishing lead times and availability.
Construction Documentation
We provide thorough, detailed, and high-quality documentation packages which are suitable for tendering, services coordination, landlord and building approval and construction. Every detail is documented and is not left to the builder’s imagination.
Tender Administration and Cost Engineering
NV Design can assist you through the tender administration process. We have a comprehensive list of builders and shopfitters that we can recommend based on previous projects so that you can rest assured that your project is in capable hands. We will refer you to the best suited builder/shopfitter to ensure your design is built to the highest quality whilst meeting your budget. We can assist in reviewing submitted tenders, cost-engineering, and price negotiations.
Working with a reputable shopfitter is just as important as working with a qualified designer. Both go hand in hand.
Construction Administration
Once your builder/shopfitter has been appointed, NV Design Agency will conduct an initial “start-up” meeting with the construction team and provide design assistance during the construction stage where required. We can undertake periodic site inspections for quality control and ensure the design and detailing is executed appropriately.
