Nancy Vuong

I am the Creative Director of NV Design Agency - a boutique multidisciplinary Interior Design agency based in Brisbane, Australia.

I began my career in Toronto, Canada, working in high-end residential and luxury condominiums. Since then, I have accumulated over a decade of professional practice in Vancouver and now Brisbane.

I specialise in bespoke retail, hospitality, and commercial design. With my experience in the industry, I am more than capable of assisting you in other design endeavours outside of these areas or providing a consulting service to give direction suitable to your business objectives.

After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture, my pursuit for further education brought me to Brisbane for a Master’s Degree in Design.  My personal and professional life experience from both countries have helped foster my design understanding and aesthetics.

My Story

It was a combination of life and work experiences that lead me on this journey of establishing NV Design Agency. After working with multiple design firms over the course of my career I felt that a personal touch was missing from the work I was completing.

By working on multiple projects at once, always trying to finish a job so that I could focus on the next, I felt that I could not be creative and provide the best possible service to my clients.

I started NV Design Agency with the idea of quality over quantity. I know from experience that when designers work on many projects simultaneously, they can become reactive rather than proactive in their approach. As each project is unique and complex, my point of difference is choosing to limit the number of projects that I take on and provide a holistic service to my clients. This ensures that the quality and execution of each project is of the highest standard to achieve its individuality.

My Vision

I find great pleasure helping new and existing business owners through the many facets of the design process to ensure that they feel comfortable, acknowledged, and involved as this process can feel daunting for those who have not gone through it before.

I excel in conceptualising and delivering spaces that are timeless and functional whilst creating an aesthetic that genuinely reflects my client’s vision, brand, and business ethos. In all projects, big or small, I collaborate closely with skilled and qualified professionals throughout the design and construction process to deliver an authentic and viable design that is within budget and marketable.

My vision with NV Design Agency is to focus on each project regardless of budget or scale both equally and passionately. I am with you on the journey from concept to completion.
