The street flavours of Mexico City and the balance between traditional and modern architecture is how the design of Barbacoa Mexican Taqueria came to be. The client strives for an authentic aesthetic with an atmospheric experience that really resonated with their experience of travelling in Mexico. The brick facades with worn and weathered paint, rustic wood and hand painted tiles creates a setting that resonates with their time travelling in Mexico, which they aspired to re-create with their restaurant at Westfield Coomera.
